Working Safely parts with the buttons being clearly labelled and visible;
they may also go back over the pages of information for further reference. There
is an interactive introduction which provides users with information about the
IOSH Working Safely. This can be found on the main page. The active time spent
in each of
Multi-Choice AssessmentEach Part (1-5) is supported by a Multi-Choice Assessment, to check understanding. These questions are selected at random from a bank of questions within the software. Each test is marked by the software and a result is given upon completion. Users may review their tests results for feedback. To unlock these assessments the user must have spent enough time reviewing the material, this is set to half the recommended time. Hazard spotting exercises and animated videoPart 3 contains additional interactive features, hazard spotting exercises and animated video. The hazard spotting exercise requires users to interact by identifying on-screen hazards. These are also marked by the software, with results and feedback available. The animated videos present users with potential hazards in the workplace. Mock and Final AssessmentUpon successful completion of Parts (1-5), part 6 will become unlocked. Part 6 contains a Mock Assessment and Final Assessment. The IOSH Mock Assessment allows users to 'sit' a mock assessment under time constraints. Users sit 10 questions, similar to those in the real assessment. These questions are multiple choice based. The number of answers are highlighted in the questions. The Final Assessment will consist of 30 questions: 27 Multiple choice and 3 hazard spotting slides. You must successfully complete this to gain the IOSH Working Safely certificate. IMPORTANT: Students must complete their study hours, exercises and final assessment within 1 month of purchase. Registration with IOSH is restricted to 3 months from purchase, which provides time for one re-sit, the cost of which is included in the fees. Students may be subject to IOSH/ACT re-registration fees after this 3 month period. IOSH fees of £25 per student is NOT included within the package price. Students are entitled to one re-take within the package price - any re-takes thereafter are subject to ACT / IOSH fees. Cost: Video and CDROM
