Who is this course for?

The course is for electricians who have at least one of the following certificates

• City & Guilds 2381 since June 2001

• City & Guilds 2330 Part 07 (2330-07)

• City & Guilds 2330 Part 08 (2330-08)

• City & Guilds 2360 Part 02 (Certificated Since Jan 1 2004)

Introduction

The Health and Safety Executive Memorandum of Guidance on the Electricity at Work Regulations, refers to the IET Wiring Regulations as a means of complying with certain Electricity at Work Regulations.

The 17th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) is the standard expected in electrical installation work and the Regulations can be used in a court of law as evidence of this standard.

The course will enable candidates to understand the scope and implementation of the 17th Edition IET Regulations and their responsibilities under the Regulations.
