Lorry Loader

To teach operators to prepare, maintain and safely operate a Lorry Loader (Hiab).

On completion of the course the operator will be able to:

Operate Lorry Loader to handle a range of materials under varying site conditions in a safe and efficient manner
Understand and comply with the safety precautions detailed in the makers handbook
Perform daily checks and user maintenance in accordance with the makers handbook
Select the correct lifting equipment for specific loads, and sling loads correctly.
Recognize and use recommended crane hand signals
Identify the capabilities and limitations of various machines and their attachments
Explain the purpose and use of F91 record of weekly inspections
