Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974
Introduction
Accidents at work are costly in terms of human suffering, lost time and lost
production. To minimize the occurrence of accidents, supervisors in particular
need to know about the Health and Safety at Work etc Act and its implications
for themselves and the staff whom they supervise.
Aims
To raise the awareness of supervision/staff to the duties and
responsibilities of themselves and others in relation to the Health and Safety
at Work etc Act 1974.
