The Supervision Task
Introduction
This course is designed for Supervisors, Managers and Deputy Managers
involved in the running of Residential Care Homes and Day Care Centres.
Aims
To examine the role of the Supervisor, and to develop an understanding of the
process involved in group and individual supervision.
Objectives
- To explore the role of the Supervisor
- To identify, develop and practise the appropriate skills necessary for
effective supervision practice
- To explore styles, format and content
- To explore the enabling and dealing with poor performance
