High Access Rescue

Introduction

A course designed to instruct personnel in the fundamentals of high access worker recovery from open structures such as telecommunications towers, pylons and tower cranes.

The Course Covers

Introduction to high access rescue and the requirement for an emergency procedure
Legislation, standards and guidelines.
Generic and specific hazard identification
Rescue equipment and systems
User inspection, care and maintenance requirements.
Knots and anchor point selection
Worker injury assessment criteria
Practical descent using rescue equipment
Cableway and tensioning system utilization and application
Worker recovery release techniques
Practical worker recovery and descent utilizing a cableway system
