Controls for Heating Engineers
Introduction
This course is for for apprentice's, improvers and plumbers who install small
heating systems in domestic or small commercial buildings. The course is
designed to give the delegate's a basic grounding in electrical safety and
enable the heating controls to be correctly and safely installed and set
correctly for efficient running of the system.
Aims
This seminar is specifically aimed at small businesses, usually working in
the domestic or small commercial field. It is based on the simple automatic
electrical control of Heating Systems used in those areas and will look at some
of the more common problems being experienced in this field.
Objectives
At the end of the seminar delegates should be able to:
- Understand the principles of basic automatic control for heating systems.
- Be competent in fitting an electrical control system for small heating
installations.
- Understand the need for mixing and diverting valves.
