This course has been replaced by the C&G 7303.
Widely recognised as the best practical trainer training
programme on the market, the City and Guilds 7331 is essential for those who
wish to be effective trainers and assessors whilst gaining an internationally
recognised training qualification.
Specifically designed to develop practical training and assessment skills for
use in both the training room and the workplace.

By the end of the course candidates will be able to:
- Identify the training needs of learners
- Construct realistic and measurable training objectives
- Design appropriate training to achieve agreed objectives
- Plan, prepare and present participative skills and knowledge based
training activities for delivery both in the workplace and in a training
room
- Facilitate group-learning activities
- Supervise and coach learners
- Construct performance specifications to measure the competence of learners

- Demonstrating tasks/skills to individuals and groups

- Facilitate and manage group-learning activities in the training room
- Dealing with problem learners and groups

techniques to the workplace
Who Should Attend
New or established Trainers wishing to gain a nationally recognized qualification in instructional techniques. Note: This
course meets requirements of TDLB standards and is therefore suitable for those
wishing to progress towards attaining an NVQ trainer award.
