Ventilation
Introduction
This course will cover the fundamentals of air
measurements in ventilation systems.
The theory behind measurements will be covered in depth
and you will be testing the theory by making practical measurements and
adjustments within your own ventilation systems.
Aim of the course
This course is intended to give you the skills to measure
airflows in ventilation systems, determine whether the airflows are acceptable
and plan a strategy for correcting maladjusted plant.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of the course delegates will be
able to:
- State the purpose of ventilation systems
- State the meaning of ventilation terminology
- Identify ventilation system components
- Determine filter change pressure drop values
- Measure airflow in ducts and at terminals
- Measure zone pressure differences
- State the procedure for balancing duct systems
- Adjust airflows in line with commissioning data
Course Duration
Two days
Certification
Certificate of Attendance or Certificate on passing the end of course test (if required).
