This course has been designed for maintenance engineers who need to have the
skills to work on Pneumatic equipment safely and efficiently. The course is
based on NVQ unit module A2/M.
Objectives
On completion of this course the delegates will be able to :
Aware of the hazards and safe working practice in operating and
maintaining compressed air equipment
Able to recognize applications of Pneumatics
Able to recognize and interpret CETOP symbols and circuit diagrams
Able to identify types of air cylinders
Able to describe the operation and application of Pneumatic valves
Able to design and build simple Pneumatic circuits
Able to recognize position sensing devices and understand their
application
Able to identify and describe the purpose of filters, lubricators and
ancillary equipment.
Able to describe methods of preventing opposing signals
Able to diagnose and rectify simple faults in Pneumatic systems
Course Duration
Five Days.
Certification
Participants will be assessed during the course, those reaching the required
standard will receive a certificate of competence.
