Oil Burner Maintenance

Introduction

This course is intended for engineers who are already carrying out maintenance on heating systems and now wish to increase their knowledge to include oil burners maintenance and testing either as a new job or a change of duties. If heating systems training is also required, this can all be covered in five days.

Aims

The aim of the course is to introduce the delegates to the basic principles of Oil Burner Maintenance. The seminar will assume that the student already has the necessary knowledge of heating systems that are available in the UK and the seminar will concentrate on the testing and maintenance of Oil fired Boilers.

Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

2. State the safety requirements and precautions for Oil Burner Plant
3. Read diagrams for Oil Burner Plant
4. Use Test Lamps and Fault Location Techniques
5. Understand Oil Hydraulics
6. State the Rules of Combustion
