Aims
To broaden the practical skills of service personnel who have functional
knowledge of refrigeration systems.
Objectives
On completion of the course service personnel will be able to detect system
leaks, repair pipework, purge and recharge the system safely

- Controlling chlorofluorocarbon discharge
- The Montreal Protocol
- Leak detection
- System pump down
- Repair of system pipework
- Recharge system with refrigerant
- Installation of system pipework
- Jointing of pipework by hard soldering
- Jointing of pipework by flare coupling
- Pre-purge of refrigeration system
- Preplanned maintenance routines for: Compressors, Condensers, Evaporators,
Air and line filters

A series of theory and practical sessions, giving practical experience to
service personnel.
