Training - The Systematic Approach

Introduction

This course is suitable for all personnel with a training/coaching role who have to identify training needs and plan training activity. This course contains a post course project, which involves delegates identifying training needs within their team and developing an action plan.

The Course Covers

  • Training needs analysis
  • Identifying training needs, methods used. Key result and key performance criteria and targets, used to monitor performance.
  • Skill and Task analysis
  • The differences and uses, constructing a training plan to bridge the gaps identified.

  • Motivation, interest levels, concentration curves.
  • Task Instruction
  • Writing a training plan.
  • Preparing to give instruction, its format and timing.
  • Following up training to test for new skills
  • Evaluation and monitoring the training plan
  • Coaching Techniques
  • Accompaniments used as training sessions
