Safe Use of Milling Machines and Lathes
Introduction
Milling machines and Lathes are potentially hazardous to untrained personnel.
This course will teach delegates safe use of these machines and the correct ways
to use the machines. This course is 80% practical.
Aims and Objectives
By the end of the course, delegates will have had instruction in the safe use
of milling machines and lathes and their appropriate tools/cutters and
techniques using them.

- Types of Tools/Cutters - techniques
- Surface finishes
- Exercises
Course Duration
Five days - ideally no more than four delegates per machine.
Certification
A certificate of attendance will be given to those completing the course.
