Who is this training for?

All managers, health and safety staff, supervisors, cooks, kitchen assistants, serving staff and anyone who handles food as part of their everyday job. 

This training covers the basics of food hygiene, food handling and storage. It follows the CIEH syllabus and is a useful backup to any formally accredited training course.

You will be able to:

• Know the procedures for good hygienic practice when handling food.
• Understand the ways in which to prevent food poisoning.
• Know the consequences of breaking the food safety laws.
• Understand how food can become contaminated and how to prevent this.
