Advanced Air Conditioning Planning

Introduction

This course has been designed for engineers who already have some basic knowledge of the principles of Ventilation/Air Conditioning design. It enables the delegate to gain further experience in this field and will cover the more complex issues such as pumps, positioning, zoning, mixing and diverting valves, Hot/Cold Air Ducts and more complex air handling systems.

Aims

This course will provide an in depth understanding of the planning and design requirements of Ventilation/Air Conditioning.

Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will have been shown how to:

• State the variety of Air Conditioning Schemes available that will meet the delegate's requirements
• State the various types of Air Conditioning Systems that are available on the open market
• Select the most suitable system for any project undertaken
• Size and design the most suitable system for any project undertaken
• All the above objectives will be carried out in accordance with current design standards and practice used throughout the heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Industry.
