iAS BS OHSAS 18001 Internal Auditor – Online e-learning Package

This web-based e-learning package provides an effective way to gain competence in carrying out internal audits against the 18001 standard.

BS OHSAS 18001 is an accepted international standard providing a framework for managing OHS and an effective internal audit is an essential component.

This can help with defence against Corporate Manslaughter/ Corporate Killing charges.

It is designed for either the single or multiple user and is divided into individual ‘parts’ to mirror the iAS syllabus. Each part has its own index, which references the syllabus section headings.  Users are easily able to move between the different ‘Internal Auditor - BS18001 Health and Safety’ parts and sections to access information PDFs, interactive slide presentations and exercises.

The active time spent in each of the parts is timed by the software. All data entered, together with timings of learning exercises and assessments, is recorded.  In order to record study hours accurately the software monitors when it is actually being used or inactive while taking a break. There is a motivational reward system to encourage student progress.  This rewards users with gold stars for completion of study time and learning exercises for each part.

Learning Exercises: Each Part is supported by a range of learning exercises to check and re-inforce understanding. To gain access to these exercises the user must have spent the recommended learning time studying the material. Users may review their answers and results of the learning exercises for feedback.

Mock and Final Assessment:

Upon successful completion of all the parts the assessment section will become available and contains a Mock Assessment and Final Assessment. The mock assessment is mandatory and allows users to attempt mock assessments under time constraints. The questions are representative of those in the real assessment.

The Final Assessment needs to be successfully completed to gain the iAS certificate for this award.
