Ready, Steady, Go - Presentation Skills - Video
Presentations are an essential corporate communication tool.
This video provides a comprehensive guide to designing
and delivering powerful presentations. It covers the ground from initial
research, designing, structuring and refining, to speaking with natural style
and impact.
Sylvester Drysdayle (Griff Rhys Jones) is a confident
and highly successful salesman for BLT. He’s been asked to make the keynote
presentation at the annual company conference.
The over confident Sylvester meets his pals in the bar the
evening before the conference and looks set to make a night of it. Meanwhile,
his nervous alter-ego is researching unimportant details. Neither is prepared
for the presentation, as they discover when they go to the conference room to
rehearse.
Each has a completely different approach. One is under
prepared, over confident and insensitive to his audience. The other is nervous,
boring and long-winded.
Luckily, the hotel caretaker rescues both with some
essential presentation techniques.
