Parachute Jumps and SkydivesLooking for something different? An exciting Day Out or
perhaps
a Corporate Event? Round Parachute Jumps
You'll learn: how the parachute equipment works; how to leave the aircraft in a stable face to earth position; how to land safely using the proper techniques; plus much, much, more... In short you'll receive the best training possible by our highly experienced, fully qualified, British Parachute Association Instructors. Once trained, and weather permitting, you'll be ready to make your first jump!Square Parachute Jumps
Having completed a minimum of six static line jumps (learning the art of falling away from the aircraft whilst practising pulling a dummy rip cord handle) you could then be ready for your first free fall. Short 3 second delays first, then 5 second delays, then 10 second delays, then 15 second delays, as so on, each time building up your experience and jumping from higher and higher altitudes. In a minimum of about 18 jumps you could qualify as a fully experienced skydiver and be clear to free fall for approximately 60 seconds from altitudes up to 12,000 feet (3,500m) deploying your parachute to be open at 2,000 feet (600m). Conversion courses are available, for those who have completed one or more round parachute jumps.
