Have you ever watched a radio-controlled model
aircraft and thought what fun it would be to try and shoot it down? Then
GNAT shooting is for you. Aerial Target Systems have developed the GNAT to
offer a totally new type of shotgun target.
The GNAT is the brainchild of Senior Pilot, John Green, who has twice been
British National Model Flying Champion. It can
fly
at up to 80 mph and is capable of aerobatics to confound the experts, but has
the flexibility to cater for all standards of shooters, thus ensuring good fun
for everyone.
The ladies and gentlemen in your party will soon be cheering as the first
GNAT hits the ground. The challenge is on - your shooting ability against the
skills of the pilot!
Your day will be arranged as you want it, for any number
of participants, at carefully selected venues all over the country.
These range from good quality inns, hotels and conference centres to
magnificent country houses and stately homes, where full hospitality and
catering can be laid on. Guests particularly enjoy being welcomed to an
exclusive party at a spectacular private estate, as well as appreciating
the style in which the event is organized.
Conventional 12-bore and 20-bore shotguns are used and all shooting takes
place under the direct supervision of our team of professional, qualified
instructors. No previous experience is required and we provide all the
necessary equipment, including special low-recoil cartridges, safety
cages, hearing protection and a range of suitable guns. Tuition and
practice are given on clay pigeons before the first GNAT is launched and
the competition is under way!
Using various pyrotechnic hits, scores soon start to mount with maximum bonus
points for blowing aircraft out of the sky! For additional effect, the wings of
the GNAT targets can be personalized with your company name or logo, or your
major competitor if you prefer!
Whilst we have full public liability insurance, the GNAT is always flown so
that it is shot down in a safe area, well away from the guests.
